Acetate fluoride is a fluorinated glucocorticoid. Topical application can cause contraction of dermal capillaries. Due to its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis and affect cellular metabolism, it can inhibit the proliferation or regeneration of epidermal cells. It can also inhibit the regeneration of fibroblasts and the generation of pigment cells within connective tissue. It can also stabilize the intracellular lysosomal membrane, prevent tissue damage caused by the release of histamine by intracellular lysosomal enzymes, and is easily absorbed from the skin when applied topically. Has anti-inflammatory, anti itch, anti proliferative, and immunosuppressive effects. After external use, it can be absorbed by the intact skin, and the degree of absorption is affected by various factors, such as the matrix of the preparation, the pathological condition of the affected skin, and whether the medication is encapsulated or not. After absorption, it binds to plasma proteins. Mainly metabolized in the liver and excreted through the kidneys. Used for contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, photodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, and pruritus.
