Lincomycin is also known as lincomycin. Fermentation filtrate obtained from Streptomyces lincolnensis variant. Its hydrochloride salt is easily soluble in water and has stable properties. The antibacterial effect is similar to erythromycin, but the antibacterial spectrum is narrow, and it is almost completely ineffective against Gram negative bacteria and various types of mycoplasma. It mainly has strong antibacterial effects on Gram positive bacteria, certain anaerobic bacteria, and molds. Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Streptococcus pyogenes are sensitive to this product, but Enterococcus is generally resistant to this product; Anaerobic bacteria such as Bacteroides, Tetanus, Clostridium, Clostridium difficile, and Streptococcus are also sensitive to this product. It is mainly used to treat various infections caused by Gram positive bacteria, especially penicillin resistant Gram positive bacteria, as well as chronic respiratory diseases in poultry and swine asthma caused by mold, anaerobic bacterial infections such as necrotic enteritis in chickens, and also used to treat swine dysentery, toxoplasmosis, and actinomycosis in dogs and cats.
