Catechin is a class of phenolic active substances extracted from natural plants such as tea, with a molecular formula of C15H14O6 and a relative molecular mass of 290.28. It is white needle crystal (water-acetic acid), melting point is 212~216ºC, soluble in hot water, ethanol, glacial acetic acid, acetone, slightly soluble in cold water and ether, almost insoluble in benzene, chloroform and petroleum ether.

Application & Function

Function
1. Scavenging free radicals: Catechin is a natural oil antioxidant, and its antioxidant activity is even higher than vitamin E! And can remove free radicals produced by the human body to protect cell membranes.
2. Delay aging: because it has the function of scavenging free radicals, it can slow down aging.
