Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat a number of bacterial infections.This includes bone and joint infections, intra abdominal infections, certain type of infectious diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, skin infections, typhoid fever, and urinary tract infections, among others. For some infections it is used in addition to other antibiotics.It can be taken by mouth or used intravenously.

Function
It has strong antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria.It has effective antibiotic activity
against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and anaerobic bacteria. Used for systemic infection and mycoplasma infection caused
by sensitive bacteria.
Application
Used for urogenital infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including simple, complex urinary tract infections, bacterial
prostatitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis or cervicitis (including those caused by enzyme-producing strains). It can also
treat respiratory tract infections, including acute episodes of bronchial infections and lung infections caused by sensitive
Gram-negative bacilli. Treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by Shigella, Salmonella, Enterotoxigenic Escherichia
coli, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc. It can also treat systemic infections such as typhoid fever, bone
and joint infections, septicemia of skin and soft tissue infections.
