Cefalexin is a yellow, crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water. Aminobenzyl cephalosporin, molecular formula: C16H17N3O5S, density: 1.31g /cm3, melting point: 182-185°C, used for the treatment of urinary system, respiratory tract, skin, facial features and gastrointestinal tract infections caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus and Escherichia coli.
Function Cefadroxil (Cefadroxil) first generation cephalosporins, has good antibacterial effects on G+ except enterococci bacteria and G- bacteria, such as penicillinase or penicillinase producing strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, pneumococcus, group A hemolytic streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Proteus on this product is sensitive; for Salmonella, Shigella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae has antibacterial effect.
