Clotrimazole inhibits the biosynthesis of fungal sterols such as ergosterol by interfering with the activity of cytochrome P450; Damaging fungal cell membranes and altering their permeability, leading to the leakage of important substances within the cells; It can also inhibit the biosynthesis of triglycerides and phospholipids in fungi; This product can also inhibit the activity of oxidation and peroxidase, causing excessive accumulation of peroxides in cells, leading to fungal subcellular structural degeneration and necrosis. Clotrimazole has broad-spectrum antifungal activity and has good antibacterial activity against tinea epidermidis, trichophyton, aspergillus, chromogenic fungi, Cryptococcus, and Candida genera. The mechanism of action of clotrimazole
