Application&Function

Mainly used for urinary tract, intestinal, and ear infections caused by sensitive Gram negative bacteria and Staphylococcus, such as urethritis, cystitis, dysentery, enteritis, otitis media, etc.
The antibacterial activity and spectrum of pipemidic acid are stronger and wider than that of naphthyric acid, but not as good as fluoroquinolones (such as norfloxacin); Bacteria resistant to naphthyric acid may still be sensitive to this product. The indications of pipemidic acid are urinary tract infection and intestinal infection caused by sensitive bacteria (mainly gram-negative bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Pneumonia, Aerobacter, indole positive and indole negative Proteus, Serratia, typhoid bacillus, Shigella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc.).
