Cefodizime is white to pale yellowish white crystalline powder, odorless or slightly peculiar smell, bitter taste.  It is very soluble in water (about 270g/L), but hardly soluble in ethanol or ether.  Clinically used for infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as upper and lower urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, gonorrhea, etc.
