Tranexamic Acid or Transamin (also known as Tranexamic Acid) is a synthetic amino Acid. Its other names include hemositis, hemostatic cycloic Acid, and coagulant Acid, etc. It has the pharmacological effect of hemostatic and anti-inflammatory. As a coagulant, Tranexamic Acid has two USES: injection and oral administration. It belongs to a class of fibrinolytic inhibitors. By reversibly blocking lysine binding sites on plasminogen molecules, plasminogen cannot be converted into plasminogen, thus effectively inhibiting fibrinolysis and producing hemostatic effect. It is widely used in surgery, internal medicine, urology and obstetrics and gynecology to treat various hemorrhagic diseases and abnormal bleeding during operation. Because the activity that can restrain melanin cell again, prevent and improve the pigment deposit of the skin, have certain hairdressing result consequently.

Application&Function

Clinical studies for years have proved that tranexamic acid can dilute spot effectively and rapidly, which helps to demonstrate a perfect white and bright skin. The spot-removing effect of tranexamic acid is about 50 times over Vitamin C, and 10 times over AHA. The concentration limit of usage is 2%-3%, and in cosmetics the amount is around 0.5%.
