The antibacterial spectrum is similar to cephalexin, and it has antibacterial effect on staphylococcus (including enzyme producing strains), streptococcus (except Enterococcus), streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Proteus, Klebsiella, Haemophilus influenzae, and Enterobacteriaceae aerogenes. The characteristic of this product is that it has a strong effect on Gram positive bacteria and a strong effect on Staphylococcus β- Lactam enzyme resistance is weak. This product is usually used for injection. Intramuscular injection of 1g, with a 1-hour blood concentration of 64 μ g/mL; Inject 1g intravenously, with a 30 minute blood concentration of 106 μ g/mL. The half-life of this product is longer (t1/2=1.8 hours), and the effective blood drug concentration is longer. Except for brain tissue, it is well distributed throughout the body and has a lower concentration in bile (1/5-1/2 of serum concentration). This product is mainly excreted in the urine in its original form. Within 6 hours after intramuscular injection of 500mg, 60% to 80% of the drug is excreted in the urine, and the peak concentration of the drug in the urine can reach 1000 μ g/mL. It is used clinically for respiratory tract, urogenital system, skin soft tissue, bone and joint, biliary tract and other infections caused by sensitive bacteria, and also for endocarditis, sepsis, pharyngeal and ear infections. This product can also be used as a preventive medication before surgery.

Application&Function

It is clinically applicable to the treatment of lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, cholecystitis, liver abscess, endocarditis, bacteremia, skin and soft tissue infection caused by sensitive bacteria. But it is not effective for meningitis.
