This product is the dextroisomer of morphine levoromorphine, which exerts a central antitussive effect by inhibiting the cough center of the medulla oblongata. Its antitussive strength is equal to or slightly stronger than codeine. No analgesic effect, no tolerance and addiction in long-term application. Therapeutic doses do not inhibit breathing. Oral absorption is good, 15 to 30 minutes to take effect, the effect can be maintained for 3 to 6 hours, and the concentration of the prototype drug in plasma is very low.
