Astragaloside IV, also known as Astragaloside IV, is a natural saponin compound isolated and extracted from the legume plant Astragalus membranaceus. Astragaloside IV can inhibit oxidative stress, reduce cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, enhance antioxidant defense systems, increase anti apoptotic and anti-inflammatory pathways, and regulate T cell differentiation and infiltration in the central nervous system. This indicates that Astragaloside IV may be used clinically for the treatment and prevention of MS. In short, Astragaloside IV can play a certain role in various diseases by regulating the immune function of the body.
