Cloxosamide is a salicylic acid aniline anthelmintic and an oxidative phosphorylation uncoupling agent, which is mainly used to treat various Fasciola, roundworm and tapeworm infections in cattle, sheep and other animals. It can reduce the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the worm, which leads to the death of the worm due to energy metabolism disorder.
