Diacerein appears to yellow crystallites powder, molecular formula C19H12O8, is an important inhibitor of IL-1 in osteoarthritis.Diacerein, also known as diacety1dihydroanthracene carboxylic acid, 1,8-diacety1-3-carboxyanthraquinone, dacerein, and ambitine, is a new interleukin (IL)-1 inhibitor , The chemical name is diacety1 rhein, which is an anthraquinone compound.
