Fludioxonil, a novel broad-spectrum, non absorbable pyrrole fungicide, inhibits the transfer of glucose phosphorylation and the growth of fungal hyphae, ultimately leading to the death of pathogenic bacteria. Used for leaf treatment of wheat, barley, corn, peas, rapeseed, rice, vegetables, grapes, lawns, and ornamental crops, to prevent and control Fusarium oxysporum, wheat black rot fungus, and Fusarium oxysporum, with special effects on gray mold disease; Grain and non grain seeds shall be treated to prevent and control seed borne and soil borne pathogens, such as Alternaria, Chadosporium, Aspergillus, Fusarium, Helminthosporium, Rhizoctonia and Penicillium. The recommended dosage is 250-500g of active ingredients/hm2.
Fludioxonil is a non-systemic fungicide used for the seed treatment control of seedling blight, scab, brown root rot, ear blight, smut and leaf spots in cereals caused by Fusarium spp., Septuria nodurum, Tilletia caries, etc. It is also a contact fungicide controlling fruit rot, wood rot, stem rot and root rot in vines, fruits, field crops, vegetables and rice.
