Application&Function
Iodixanol, developed by Nycomed, Norway, is a new type of non-ionic Xray contrast agent (osmolarity of 290mosmol/kg), which is the only one in the blood vessel A contrast agent that is isotonic with plasma when applied.Ioxanol is a contrast agent for injection, which is suitable for endoconical angiography, cardio-cerebrovascular angiography and intravenous urography.
