Huperzine A, an organic compound with the chemical formula C15H18N2O, is a reversible cholinesterase inhibitor with selective inhibition of true cholinesterase. It is mainly used as cholinesterase inhibitor, which is used for benign memory disorders and various types of dementia, memory cognitive function and emotional behavior disorders in middle and old age, and can also be used for the treatment of myasthenia gravis.
