Taymycin is an organic compound with a molecular formula of C28H47NO4S and a molecular weight of 493.742, white or white crystalline powder. Tymycin is a diterpene antibiotic with a chemical structure similar to valnemulin.
Taimycin was synthesized by chemical synthesis of hydrogenated fumarate after truncated Pleurotus mutilus fermentation from the higher fungi basidiomycetes. Taimycin was a diterpene-specific antibiotic for livestock and poultry. First proposed by Kavangh in Australia in 1951, it began to be widely studied in the 1960s and is one of the world's top ten veterinary antibiotics.
Tymycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic, the main component of tysulodine, its main role is to inhibit the protein synthesis of bacteria, prevent their growth and reproduction, so as to achieve the effect of killing bacteria. Tymycin is only suitable for bacterial infection, and is ineffective for viral infection, and long-term use may lead to bacterial imbalance, reduce human immunity, and even cause drug allergies and other problems.
