Dosage for children and adolescents weighing less than 70 kg - At the beginning, the total daily dose of tormoxetine hydrochloride should be about 0.5 mg/kg, and the dosage should be increased after the minimum dosage of 3 days to the total daily target dose of about 1.2 mg/kg, which can be taken once every morning or twice in the morning and evening. Doses exceeding 1.2mg/kg/day showed no additional benefit.
For children and adolescents, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 1.4mg/kg or 100mg, whichever is smaller.
Dosage for children, adolescents and adults weighing more than 70 kg - At the beginning, the total daily dose of tormoxetine hydrochloride should be 40 mg, and the dosage should be increased after the minimum dosage for 3 days to the total daily target dose of about 80 mg. The drug should be taken once in the morning or twice in the morning and evening on average. After continued use for another 2 to 4 weeks, if the best effect is still not achieved, the maximum daily total dose can be increased to 100mg. There is no data to support that the effect will be increased at higher doses.
For children, adolescents and adults weighing more than 70kg, the maximum recommended total daily dose is 100mg.
