Polyether polyol (abbreviated as polyether) is an organic polymer produced by the addition reaction of an initiator (a compound containing active hydrogen groups), propylen oxide (PO), and oxide (BO) in the presence of a catalyst. The largest production of polyether is achieved by using glycerol (glycerol) as the starting agent and epoxides (usually used in combination with PO and EO). By changing the feeding method (mixed or separate), dosage ratio, and feeding order of PO and EO, various universal polyether polyols are produced.

Application&Function

1. Detergent or defoamer
L61, L64, and F68 are used to prepare low foam and high detergent synthetic detergents;
L61 and L81 are used as defoamers in the papermaking or fermentation industry;
F68 is used as a defoamer in artificial heart lung machine blood circulation to prevent air from entering.
2. Excipients and emulsifiers
Polyethers have low toxicity and are commonly used as drug excipients and emulsifiers; It is often used in oral cavity, nasal spray, eye, ear drops and shampoo.
3. Wetting agent
Polyether is an effective wetting agent that can be used in acidic baths for fabric dyeing, photographic development, and electroplating. When using F68 in sugar factories, more sugar can be obtained due to the increased permeability of water.
4. Antistatic agent
Polyether is a useful antistatic agent, and L44 can provide lasting electrostatic protection for synthetic fibers.
5. Dispersant
