Gentamicin is an organic substance with the chemical formula C60H125O22N15·H2SO4. It is a white or off-white crystalline powder with hygroscopicity, easily soluble in water, hardly soluble in lipids, insoluble in organic solvents, stable chemical properties, and temperature And the change of pH is relatively stable, and the pH of 4% aqueous solution is 4.0-6.0. This product is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It has good antibacterial effect on various gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive bacteria, and has good antibacterial effect on various Enterobacteriaceae such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, Enterobacter, Serratia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa have good antibacterial effects.
