This product is a surface active agent, has quite strong broad spectrum antibacterial, bactericidal action, has an effect on a variety of bacteria. Due to its positive charge, this product adsorbs on teeth, patches and oral mucosal surface with negative charge when gargling in the mouth. Then the adsorbed drug disperses from these parts and gradually precipitates out, producing continuous effect until its concentration in saliva decreases 24 hours later. This product adsorbates on the osmotic barrier of the bacterial cytoserous membrane, causing the cell contents to leak out. It has bacteriostatic effect at low concentration and bactericidal effect at high concentration. It is used for adjuvant treatment of angina, stomatitis and gingivitis.
