Zinc Lactate is white granules or crystal powder and no smell. It can be easily dissolved in hot water. Its molecular formular is C₆H₁₀ZnO₆ × 3H₂O and the molecular weight is 297.38. It is widely used in food, beverage, dairy products, flour, table salt, nutritive liquid, medicine, etc.

Application&Function

1) For zinc supplements food and nutrition liquid, production of zinc tablets and granules for children.
2) Zinc lactate zinc is a good food Enhancer for babies and has an important role in the intellectual and physical development of young people, better absorption than inorganic zinc. Provisions for dairy products in China, use of 30~60mg/kg (in terms of zinc,the same below); use of 25~70mg/kg in the infant food; used in cereals and their products of 5~10mg/kg; drinking fluids used in5~10mg/kg; in liquid in children with a maximum of 0.6~1.0g/kg (zinc lactate).
