Imidacloprid, also known as Imidacloprid, Imidacloprid, Imidacloprid, or Bidan, is a highly effective systemic broad-spectrum insecticide with stomach toxicity and contact killing effects. It has a long shelf life and has good control effects on piercing sucking mouthparts pests. This drug is a structurally new compound that acts on the nicotinic acid acetylcholinesterase receptor in insects, thereby interfering with the insect's motor nervous system. This is completely different from the mechanism of action of traditional insecticides, and therefore has no cross resistance. This medicine is mainly used to prevent and control piercing sucking mouthparts pests on crops such as rice, wheat, and cotton.
Imidacloprid belongs to the nitromethylene class of insecticides, which act on nicotinic acid acetylcholinesterase receptors and are used to control piercing sucking oral pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, thrips, whiteflies, and their resistant strains. It is also effective for Coleoptera, Diptera, and Lepidoptera. Not active against nematodes and spider mites. Due to its excellent absorbency, it is particularly suitable for seed treatment and granular application. It can prevent and control pests on cereal crops, corn, rice, potato, sugar beet and cotton in an early and continuous manner, and pests in the late growth period of the above crops, citrus, deciduous fruit trees, vegetables, etc. can be prevented and controlled by foliar spray. Leaf spray has excellent control effect on black tailed leafhoppers, planthoppers (brown planthopper, gray planthopper, white backed planthopper), aphids (peach aphid, cotton aphid) and thrips (thrips in greenhouse fences), and also has control effect on whitefly, rice borer, rice negative mud insect, and rice weevil, superior to thiazinone, permethrin, pirimicarb. When the soil concentration is 1.25mg/kg (ppm) during toxic soil treatment, it can effectively control peach aphids on Chinese cabbage and pea aphids on broad beans for a long time; Granules treated with a 1g a.i./kg seedling box have excellent control effects on rice leafhoppers and planthoppers; Treatment with 1ga.i/kg seeds can prevent and control soybean aphids and cotton aphids for at least 5 weeks
