Domperidone acts on peripheral dopamine receptors, promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis, improving the coordination of the gastric antrum and duodenum, increasing the tension of the lower esophageal sphincter, and improving gastroparesis. Erythromycin can also enhance gastric motility, stimulate gastrointestinal peristalsis, and has no effect on normal individuals. Its dosage is small and safe. The combination of the two has synergistic effect and can be used for the treatment of diabetes patients with gastroparesis.
1. Symptoms of indigestion caused by delayed gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux, chronic gastritis, esophagitis, including nausea, vomiting, belching, upper abdominal distension, abdominal pain, bloating, and burning sensation in the mouth and stomach due to reflux.
2. Parkinson's disease and nausea and vomiting caused by various reasons, such as functional, infectious, dietary, radiation therapy or drug therapy, as well as treatment with dopamine receptor agonists (such as levodopa, bromothalonil).
3. Suitable for migraine, dysmenorrhea, traumatic brain injury and intracranial lesions, radiotherapy, as well as nausea and vomiting caused by levodopa, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc.
