PVP is white or yellow-white powder or clarifies transparently and the thick solution, easy to dissolve in the water, mellow, in the amine and the halohydrocarbon, does not dissolve the ether and so on. Has the fine solubility, the biological intermiscibility, the physiological inertia, Cheng Moxing, membrane body protection ability and many kinds of organic, inorganic compound compound ability, the para acid, the salt and hot stable, therefore has the widespread use.

Application&Function

1)Cosmetic: PVP/VA Series play a good role in film-former and haifixing agent. Its hygroscopicity decreases
with theincrease of the proportion of vinylacetate in the molecular. This property of PVP/VA is extremely
useful as it works in hair sprays and hairset lotion. If it is mixed with PVP K30, the effect of hafixing would be
changed a lot.
2)Pharmaceuticals:It is mainly used as water soluble and drying adhesive agent when making grain and
 pressing tablet directly. It will be used in film coating and covertaste agent. It can prevent sugar coating
 from split and make bottom coating avoid dampness.
3)Other Utility: PVP/VA series can be used in remoistenable adhesive and other adhesives for paper or 
viscosityenchancing agent and protecting colloid for printing ink. PVP/VA 64 series can also act as 
emulsifying agent, protecting colloid forplanting-protecting chemicals, other dispersing systems and binder in 
coating.
